I’m hoping if we all get together and demand help, they will have to do something! If they can, I will post whatever I learn back here. If this happened once, why won’t it happen to other apps? What WILL happen to the next “for purchase” application when its developers die or move on and the app no longer functions with the current Mac iOS? This should be an Apple problem! I am going to call them tomorrow and see if they can help.
If the original iPassword went out of business and a new developer created an entirely new app, which seems to be what happened, Apple should find a way for those of us who purchased our app to get into it, retrieve all of our passwords and find another app. I agree with you 100%! We purchased the app through the App Store on our iPhones! That should be under their supervision and they should be held responsible.
